Hands-on Kubernetes performance troubleshooting - A case study approach.  In this fast paced, hands-on session, Arun will take a live microservices application running on Kubernetes and intentionally inject “faults” which degrades the application performance. Our challenge is to figure out what the root-causes are as quickly as possible and fix them. Why this session? Kubernetes is the de-facto container orchestration tool but it is a complex beast with many moving parts. As IT professionals, our job is to ensure excellent user experience of the application and therefore each microservice. The keyword here is “service” - yet most monitoring tools tend to focus on PODs, and clusters and low-level infra visibility.  It’s time we zoom out and understand the why, what and how of optimal troubleshooting in a complex system such as Kubernetes.

Remote graphic workloads and clients (2020 edition). As we add advanced GPUs to our virtual desktop environments, delivering the best user experience requires tweaking of remote display protocol settings like quality, compression, chromatic sub-sampling, not to mention vendor-specific settings. But what about the different clients? In this intermediate-level session Rody Kossen and Patrick van den Born will show you the difference in user experience between clients and workloads. You’ll learn:

Cherif Hadria Mohamed Riane, aka "VDI-Sheriff"

"...I used to be a hax0r that was looking for Fame & a job on Facebook. G00g1ing for simple "h@ck$" and speaking in "l33t". Defacing beautiful websites (like this one) with awful looking "90's like" pages, putting wee pink heart symbols all over the place (I love Unicorns, too!). I would leave so many traces EVERYWHERE that my "victims" would send "Hacking for Dummies" books straight to my (parents) HOME address!!! Awkward, for a h@x0r, right?!

But then I learned about the E2EVC Community (whose website I defaced), watched the free, recorded sessions on E2EVC Channel on YouTube, heard about the networking experience, the amazing presenters and just how magnificent the in-person event is.. I totally changed! Now I'm a huge Virtualisation Fan. And you guessed it right - I finally got a job in virtualisation, my first job, ever!!! Now I can finally move out of my parents house!!!

The community spirit of E2EVC is unstoppable, undeniable and will bring a lot of joy (and beer!) and positive change to your life!.. Forever Living Provisioning Services! Thank you E2EVC!"
